Items Disappearing in my Mouse when /clear clock is active

I activated a clock that would execute the command /clear @a 374. After I did that, I tried to grab something from my inventory, but that item disappeared before I could place it in my hotbar.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set up a clock (of any type) with a command block that executes the /clear @a 374 command. This command should get rid of all the empty bottles that all of the players have.
2. Grab something from the inventory.
3. Wait a bit.
