Enchanted horse armor doesnt show enchant animation when on horse

When I tamed a horse, I wanted it to have enchanted armor so it doesn't get hurt that bad. I put the armor on expecting a cool enchant animation, but didn't appear.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Tame horse.
2. Enchant armor via Anvil or Enchant table
3. Put on horse
4. Look at the horse
