Low Frames on macbook with new 20w22a snapshot

I went into my world with the new snapshot on my macbook air witch i usaly would get good frames on (60fps). But with the new snapshot I was only getting 14 fps no matter my render distance. I even created a new superflat world and changed settings to optimise frames but it still had low frames. I then logged on with the current update and joined the same world to find that I got normal frames (50-60fps).
