Awkward Crazy Minecraft Textures

Well, this actually happened in both creative and survival, but I was in creative first when this happened. This was the second time it has happened to me, once randomly on my server, then right after I made an empty world. I think the empty world could of caused this problem because my game crashed after I created it. The textures would randomly glitch out! I think the diamond turned into cake. It started with the water disappearing. This effected every texture pack, so it was annoying. I already lost the crash report (deleted .minecraft to see if it would work) so I can't upload the report. Hopefully you can fix this Mojang!
