Cannot Shift Double-Click items from Inventory to Hotbar

Holding Shift and Double-Clicking an item from the Inventory doesn't transfer all of the items of the same type in the Hotbar.

What I expected to happen was....

Shift Double-Clicking an item from the Inventory would transfer all of the items of the same type to the Hotbar.

What actually happened was....

Only the item I was Shift Double-Clicking on was transferred to the Hotbar but then was put back into the Inventory in the first available slot.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Have at multiple full stacks of items in your Inventory (not Hotbar, full stacks can be 64, 16 of Snowballs or Ender Pearls or multiple unstackable items)
2. Hold Shift
3. Double-Click while hovering over any of the items you have multiple full stacks of
4. Notice that the item was put in the Hotbar and then came back in the Inventory in the first empty slot
