can't use items after leaving the boat, 20w22a Snapshot

in survival mode, i can't use items after leaving the boat, i can scroll them but the items are not been showed in hands. I have to restar the game  each time this happends and the problem solves, it happends a lot, im playing the 20w22a Snapshot.
