The new snapshot 20w22a brings a massive drop in FPS

I went on to play today on my laptop (MBP 13" 2019) which played 60 Frames Per Second on 20w21a, I updated to 20w22a and I dropped all the way to 15-17FPS and I tried to switch back and I got those frames back, is there anyway to fix the frame drops in the new snapshots?
