Loss of hands

I wanted to create my own village and started putting a resident in a boat. I climbed into the boat . I pressed Ctrl and drove a few meters on the ground. I pressed the Shift button, and suddenly my hand disappeared. I can't put the blocks up and get in the boat. The error disappears when I restart the world.
