[Crash] Village fails to generate in plains biome.

Game crashes in a plains biome while trying to generate a village. The loading screen also shows an incompletely generated spawn area (see attached image). A sheep is the entity being ticked. I downloaded the world and re-created it in creative and the chunks generate fine. The world was originally on a server, but the problem persisted after downloading it. The world was in hardcore with about 4 people online. The crash log is attached.
