Using locate command crashes the game

Im on a survival map and tried to use locate command for buried treasure and suddenly I can't use my rockets for my elytra and my character keep on crouching, at first I thought my shift key malfunctioned but it happened twice. I then tried to quit and save game but the game crashed :<
