Singleplayer World Freeze/Lag/Everything stops working

Hello.

Today my world suddenly stopped working when I was at my tree farm and doing nothing unusual. At first, experience stopped getting picked up, so I quit the world (very long saving screen time) and made a backup. A few seconds after rejoining, the same thing happens.

When I load the backup world, everything is normal for probably 30 seconds, then the world freezes. Restarting Minecraft or my computer did nothing.
