Ghost Pulse created by Torch on Door

Placing a redstone torch on a door, and then powering said door on the same tick will result in a ghost pulse, not visually activating the redstone nor the door, but breaking the torch nonetheless. Steps to reproduce can be seen in this video: Testing_MC-184760.mov
