Redstone issues

I am building a secret room and my t-flip flop is not working, you must break both redstone torches and then place one on the side you want out, even ones that worked before this don't and when i opened it in 1.5.2 it worked fine. it is meant to be a one button RS NOR latch press button, change, press again, back to the way it was
