End Gateway portal not generating after killing ender dragon

After killing the ender killing in my hardcore world I couldn't find an end gateway portal and after a thorough search for it in the 20 generation areas i couldn't find .

I tried it again in creative and still failed to find the end gateway portal in the 20 generation areas.
