Using a shield while holding a bow without arrows causes the incorrect animation to play

If you hold a shield on your offhand, a bow on your mainhand without any arrows in survival mode, if you right-click and press F5 you can see yourself looking like you are trying to shoot a bow even thought you do not have any arrows.
