Glowstone crawl glitch

So Im taking note of this, because I was in my hardcore world that was a couple of months old, and I went to collect glowstone, and when I was collecting some, I slipped under the block into the lava and died. So I went into a creative world too see if I could re-create it. Note: I am not blaming you for my death, I am but a fool
