Book & Quill not working as it should.

On the Minecraft wiki, it states that you should be able to color format and format text such as bold etc. I cannot do this because the § doesn't work. I typed this with my keyboard by holding alt then pressing 0167 on my numpad. It works with alt+21 also. It just doesn't work. Please can we have this fixed?

 

I've tested other shortcuts on the keyboard like •◘○ →↑↓← and they all work in the Book and Quill. I don't believe it worked in 1.15 either but I can't be 100% on that.

 

On topic of the Book & Quill, can we please have what Bedrock edition has in terms of the mechanics, double pages and functionality?
