Minecraft icon does not appear, rather it's the java icon that appears and the game crashes before even starting.

I expected the game to start normally (showing the usual menu, Minecraft logo and random quote).

What actually happened was that the game had a black background while updating, then showed the message "missing texture" twice on a white background, then crashed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run the .Exe application
2. Log in
3. Witness the bug
