Everyone else has editions

In my Minecraft I was playing and my friends asked if they wanted to play old Minecraft at first I was confused but it was real with the old mini games so we went back to the menu I did not see it but they were actually able to play it but I couldn't I don't know if this is a bug or a hack or only for them I am hoping for your answer and could please fix the bug
