Macbook Right click no longer works (ctrl click)

the right click on a mac book has lost its default ctrl click, and I can't change it back (only lets you have it as a click, or crtl not both together)

was playing 1.5 fine but when upgraded to the new DEV luncher and latest snapshot the default controls for laying blocks changed.
