Skin isn't working despite confirmation on the Launcher and Minecraft.net

Skin isn't working. Confirmed to not be a layer issue, and is defaulting to the default skin. The skin showing in the launcher and minecraft.net is not loading despite it showing as an active skin on both sites. I have received a notification saying, "Successfully updated your skin". After multiple attemtps, downloads, reloads, and relaunches, the skin remains default and it seems unable to be changed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
