Right clicking a water bucket (presumably lava too) does nothing, but also plays the bucket empties sound

This is probably due to the height limit fix. Doing this would play the bucket sound infinitely.
If you have a shield in the off hand and do this, you will hold out the shield, meaning the bucket in your main hand's right click isn't registered. Therefore it shouldn't play the sound.
