Fishing doesnt work in newest snapshot

FIshing is broken in the newest snapshot. When a fish catches your line, there is no way to catch it, you cant reel in the rod. you can only reel it in after the fish is off the line. There must be a bug preventing this, and I did it multiple times on different PC's to make sure it wasn't just me.
