Fhishing im Multiplayer does not work

I am hosting a little private minecraft Server on the snapshot version 20w18a. I wanted to get somme pufferfish and so i startet fishing. Everytime the bubbles are getting close to thr rod i pressed the right click as normal, but the rod did not came out of the water and i was not able to get XP or any loot. After the time to click for the loot was over i could pull back the rod normally So i looked in the server logs and i noticed that every time i tried to pull back the fishing rod, in the server log there was popping up an error. For testing purpose i also let my friend try to fish on the server and there was the same problem.
