Respawn at world spawn instead of bed

I died, and instead of respawning at my bed, which I had used right before my mining excursion that led to my death, I respawned at my world spawn with the message that my bed or respawn anchor had been broken. I don't know if this is affected by the fact that last time I died, I actually had broken my bed.
