Forign Letters Crash - Server Only

I tried to copy and paste a Chinese Character onto a sign on the latest snapshot (20w17a) and it cause my entire game client to crash. Everytime I rejoined, my game would hang, then crash. Even teleporting with the web console still leads to a crash. No matter what I try it leads to a crash. When I tried the same thing on a single player world, there was no issue. I am not sure if this is a rare, un-replcarble bug, or a constant issue. The server log reports no errors on its side. I have included the crash log if it is necessary. (This is a multiple attempt a reporting, the bot gives a fix that does not work.)
