Level 0 enchants possible through /enchant

When playing MC version 20w16a, I used the command /enchant and accidentally instead of "1" in the level typed "0". It executed properly and gave me an item with Protection level 0, which normally can't be obtained without /give (/enchant can give you only proper enchant levels available normally).
In the 20w17a changelog there isn't any note of it being fixed, so I assume it's also a 20w17a issue, but if it's needed, I can check.
