2x2 unable to grow after updating to 20w17a

I am unable to grow a 2x2 dark oak tree after updating to the latest snapshot 20w17a. My world has been in a previous snapshot and I don't know if that caused the issue I'm having. I have been able to grow the dark oak tree in a new world in 20w17a. I don't know if this a corruption issue or not.
