Glass blocks do not have an assigned tool

The Bug:

Glass blocks do not have an assigned tool.

Steps to Reproduce:

Place down six blocks of glass.
Obtain a sword, axe, shovel, pickaxe, hoe, and some shears.
Break the six blocks of glass using a different tool for each block you break.
Take note as to whether or not glass blocks have an assigned tool.

Observed Behavior:

Glass blocks do not have an assigned tool.

Expected Behavior:

Glass blocks would have an assigned tool.
