Ghast Spawning out of the Nether Portals in the over world and getting stuck

While looking at the new Snapshot 20W16A and exploring the fantastic nether material we decided to return to the over world where it was discoverer a Ghast had spawn in the portal and appeared to be stuck, I then wanted to see if the Ghast was able to shoot still so i changed my game mode to survival and sure enough I was getting shot.
