Strider bug with warped fungus on a stick interaction

whenever you swap back and forth from your warped fungus on a stick it causes the strider to start levitating 0.5 blocks above ground. they become permanently suspended above the ground and gain the "cold" feature, there is nothing I have found that reverts this problem (see attachment for image
