The knowledge book dosent unlock recipes

As i was playing the latest snapshot, i saw some new items and wanted to know the recipe, so i ran the command

/give (username) minecraft:knowledge_book

When i got it and right clicked it nothing happened, so i switched to survival mode and right clicked it again. It disappeared but nothing else happend.
