Placing block next to redstone ore (facing at it) doesn't play sound

Placing block sound issue description:

 

When you place any block facing at a redstone ore the game doesn't play any placing sound (both survival mode and creative mode).

 

To reproduce it you have to place a redstone ore everywhere you want and then place any other block near it (you have to click the redstone ore!).
