my game keeps minimizing

When playing the new 1.16 snapshots, in all of the snapshots since I've been playing my survival world, every couple of minutes-now every 30 seconds-my game keeps minimizing out to my desktop and not pausing. This is very annoying making it almost impossible to do anything long term. I have not had this problem in earlier versions like 1.14-1.15.2. Im hoping it is on the minecraft side and can be fixed and not my pc because I have tried everything on my end.
