Baby Striders Don't Get Cold When Riding on Cold Striders

If you spawn a strider using the strider spawn egg or using the /summon command, there is a chance a baby strider will spawn riding the adult strider, but if the adult strider is spawned on a block that isnt lava, it will get cold, but the baby strider will not
