Gold blocks that are mined are not dropping

Gold blocks that are mined are not dropping and can not be collected. All other blocks are fine. I tried with different pickaxes and enchantments. I when from creative mode to Survival Mode when trying to mine the gold blocks. To make sure I didn't mess up and accidentally stay in Creative, I tired it multiple times.
