Nether update: Red/Warped stems, planks etc. not working as fuel

I recently found a bug where Nether "Trees" (crimson and warped stems) are not working as fuel for things like a furnace. I've tried for a while now to get this bug sorted out but so far it persists. If anyone can get this bug fixed, that would be greatly appreciated.
