Striders keep floating after walking on a soul sand

When i was riding a strider, me and my strider accidentally walked on a soul sand and it started floating and the color of the strider changed to blue and shivering. It won't stop floating and i ride another strider but i changed the block underneath with other blocks. The striders didn't float. It seems like the striders floating when it steps on a soul sand and i didn't see this behavior was added into the snapshot.
