Striders float when attached to a lead.

          I was in the nether during some survival gameplay and I wanted to move a strider to a dock that I had made near the coastline. As I moved around I bit with the strider attached to the lead, it started to float like a balloon or something, almost like the levitation effect was brought upon it. It's kind of annoying when moving the strider on land to assure that I don't fall into lava when I dismount. Of course, if you have other priorities or are to busy with other bugs, I understand if this bug remains in the game for a bit. Hope you can get back to me - Joseph
