Blocks disappear when put in the crafting grid.

Whenever I place oak wood in the 2x2 crafting grid, it disappears. Same thing happens when shift-clicking from the recipe book and works for other blocks. Just started trying out the newest snapshot so unsure if anyone else got this issue.
