commands dont work

What I expected to happen was...:
to make an entire world with the biome basalt deltas

What actually happened was...:
it became laggy and all the commands i executed didnt work

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a new world
2. choose buffet world type and then basalt deltas
3. turn structures off so it is less laggy
