Not all inventory can be selected while in crafting table

When selected in the crafting table, the two top right slots in the inventory cannot be selected. The second from the right slot will highlight and the furthest right one will not, but neither can be selected while using the crafting table.
Once I exited the crafting table, there are no issues with selecting items in my inventory.
