Villagers from different biomes won't breed.

I have two villagers, one from a savanna biome and the other from a desert biome. When providing 4 beds and 16 pieces of bread to each one, they should be able to breed, correct? Well, mine didn't after 30 mins and now I am submitting this in a bug report. Thank you for your consideration.
