Sprinting/Sprint-Jumping Kills me for no reason.

As far as I can find, no one else has reported this. I was checking out the nether update, when a hoglin attacked, I was only wearing a gold helmet (to stop the piglins from attacking me while I was bartering with them) eventually the hoglin broke my helmet and the piglins attacked and killed me. I respawned, like normally, I thought.

However, when I started sprint jumping back toward where I put the portal, I glitched a tiny bit, but I thought it could just be lag, then I died. No death message, no hurt sound, nothing. I tried a few variables, I walked, jumped without moving, but it seems like sprinting is the cause. I don't even know what i did to cause this, so I/you might not even be able to replicate this. I haven't tried since.
