Striders not spawnable in overworld without complete loss of sound

After attempting to /summon or use the Strider Spawn Egg in the Overworld I finally got it to work only in water.

They start to behave strangly after finding their way out of the lethal water.

In game sounds stop working compleatly (menu sounds still work)

Trying to re-log results in immediate freeze and crash
