the floating Striders case

First of all I am glad we have a new mob that is ride able second they are fun third i expected some bugs and bug i found mainly just one when they walk towards a lava stream either just lava flowing down from the ceiling or lava going down a hill they go up fine but down is a problem and also i don't know if them not being able to jump is the cause or another bug to cause the floating bug but i hope the Minecraft team fixes it soon. : )
