When entering full screen mode, monitor refresh rate reverts to 60hz automatically but in Windowed still operates just fine at 144hz

In the latest snapshot (20w12a) when entering fullscreen mode, either by pressing f11 or going to the video settings and enabling the fullscreen option, the screen goes black for 2-3 solid seconds before eventually entering back into the game but at a lower refresh rate. FPS is unaffected, just monitor refresh rate.
