Cow Textures Glitched and showing white models instead of normal cows

So I was playing a hardcore game that was recreated from another save only once, and i looked at the cows that i had killed in the game that i had made a copy of and there was no texture on them, just white, all the animations were there but just no skin, i have no texture packs installed or anything besides the stock minecraft 20w12a
