Torch doesn't show in recipe book

Hey! Just wanted to let you guys know that the torch doesn't show up in the recipe book, nor does it let you know that you have unlocked its recipe, until after you've crafted a torch for the first time. I don't know if it is just me, but It's been happening on a few of my single player worlds.
