Using Riptide in off hand will deal damage according to the item in your main hand, not the actual trident

The trident should stab your opponents using the actual trident. However I've noticed that if you place it in the off hand, the damage will come from the item in your main hand. My netherite sword had fire aspect, and the pig was set on fire when hitting it with the trident.
